Happy Friday, friends!!

We were a hot & sweaty mess in the Texas heat, but we got our boys moved into their college dorm earlier this week. As I helped unpack boxes, I saw what mementos they chose to bring from home. I must admit I teared up when I pulled out these little frames of my Mom and mother-in-law. My freshman son brought his guardian angel Grandmas along with him! 😍 I placed them next to the framed family photo I had Bible Quilted to surround my sweet boy with beloved scripture. Then I took a deep breath, said a quick prayer over this boy and his roommate sharing this space, and moved on to the next box to unpack.

Have kids/grandkids heading off to college? Try this simple yet meaningful idea: Bible Quilting Verses for College Students

This week we're beginning the adjustment of our down-sized family and I'm pouring TLC into my high school son who starts distance-learning on Monday.

I'm continuing to rely on the daily boost from our 31 Days of Comfort series. Here's my page of these verses at the halfway point. How's yours going?? I'm loving the ones shared in the Facebook group...keep them coming!

How are YOU doing?

I hope you're finding humor among the craziness, comfort despite all the chaos, and beauty in the midst of all the transitions you're facing these days.

On my morning walk yesterday I backtracked to take this photo of these flowers. Although this flower patch is no longer in the height of its glory, beauty is still bursting forth as other parts have faded.

It was a poignant reminder that throughout all the changes we're going through, we have beautiful growth happening along the way.

The Holy Spirit is still at work, friends. Always.

As we enter new seasons, sometimes it's good to pause to remember how previous transitions have gone for us so we can adjust our expectations. Here's a post from our back-to-school season last year:
