Roshaan Nadeem took this picture from the Taqwa Space Observatory in Balochistan. We are looking at a region of sky in the constellation Orion, near its middle, or where the belt of Orion is located. Invisible to the human eye, the picture is dominated by the unusual, dark cloud in the middle called the Horsehead nebula - a cloud of dust and gas that blocks the light from background stars and brightly lit Hydrogen gas (in red).
