June is here. It’s time to SHINE!

Our superstars have been working so hard all year learning and perfecting moves for this year’s recital and it’s shaping up to be an electrifying show. From the first dance, to our March of The Superstars finale, our performers are ready to dazzle audience members and SHINE!

Reminder the last class before recital is Thursday June 8, 2023.

2023-24 Registration is now open!

We’re excited to announce the opening of our 2023-24 registration! Current dancers will receive their class recommendations in their year end package, which will be handed out on their last class before recital.

Want to check "dance registration" off the to-do list and register early for the 2023-24 season? Remember to register online using the promo code EARLY25 and save $25 on your registration when you register online between June 1-15, 2023.

Recital - SHINE 2023

The countdown is officially on for SHINE 2023! For all your need-to-know details about recital, view the recital handbook linked below.

Recital Rehearsal: Saturday June 10, 2023 at 9:30am. Location: Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre.

Recital Show: Saturday June 10, 2023 at 5:00pm (dancers should arrive between 4:15pm-4:30pm) Location: Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre.

Tickets for Shine 2023 cost $25 each and will be available for purchase until June 8, 2023 from the studio office. Please note: tickets will not be available for purchase at the door. All people in attendance require a ticket for admission (children included).

Dance Pictures

Dance class photos are ready to preview and order. You can preview the gallery and order your photos by clicking the button below. Access the gallery using the password: MAD2023!

Please note the preview album is password protected and digital downloads are restricted for the protection of the kids in the photos.

You can order your photos online with credit card through the link below. If you prefer to pay cash, you can do so by printing off the form below and bringing your form and cash in to the studio office.

To find your photo numbers for your order, hover over your photo and the number will appear at the lower left of the photo.

Elite Team Tryouts

Maples Academy of Dance will be holding Performance Team Tryouts this June to help select our Competitive Performance Team for the 2023-24 dance season.

Tryouts are a way for new dancers in our superstar family to be evaluated for team placement, as well as an opportunity for current dancers to be evaluated for solo, duet, trio and extra group dances.

Tryouts are open to all dancers ages 7-18 who aspire to be selected for 2023-24 Performance Team.

Please note: current team members are required to attend tryouts if they want to be selected for solo, duet, trio, or pre-selected for hand-picked small groups for the 2023-24 season. If current team members only want to participate in competitive class groups, they are not required to attend tryouts.
