You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 2 Cor. 9:11 The Legacy Christian Academy start-up team is so thankful to all of our supporters for your faithful prayers and for spreading the word about Legacy! God has blessed us through you! Here is a brief overview of our start-up progress so far. We have hosted 2 official Information Sessions (our 3rd is next week), attended 2 community events (our 3rd is tomorrow), selected our curriculum (BJU Press), created our school board, filed for our 501c3 non-profit status, held meetings with local churches and ministers, ordered and distributed promotional items, selected the FACTS school management software as our online student/family information system, applied for membership with ACTS (Association of Christian Teachers and Schools), created a website and active Facebook page and have 21 families and 32 students on our interest list! God is amazing us daily! The response from our community is an inspiration to our team! Thank you! In a time when the world is looking dark and unsettled, our faithful God so vibrantly lights up the path for His children! Praise Him from whom all blessings flow! | | |

The Legacy Christian Academy team will be at Sierra Lutheran High School THIS Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will have a rock painting booth for children. Please come out to support Christian education in our community! |

Nevada Opportunity Scholarship Legacy Christian Academy is committed to working with families individually to ensure that a Christian education is within their means. We will be diligently seeking scholarship resources and funds for our families. It is our hope to have both inside and outside scholarship funds available. One outside funding resource that families can look into now is the Nevada Opportunity Scholarship. This is a Nevada Scholarship Tax-Credit program. While funds for this program go to current scholarship students first, it is expected that other funds will be available to new students. This program funds on a first come basis. LCA plans to register as an Opportunity Scholarship school. | | Traditional Programs: Preschool/PreK Program: We are hoping to partner with a local church for these programs and will share info on this as soon as we confirm it. Kindergarten Program: A modified day program 5 days a week. 1st-8th Grade 4 and a half day program: A 4 full-day program consisting of a high quality curriculum based on a Biblical Worldview, excellent Christian teachers, discipleship time, and engaging enrichment classes. Our enrichment classes will be driven by the interests and talents of our school community and may include classes such as music, art, P.E., robotics, horticulture, etc.. The half day (day TBD) will consist of our school worship time, discipleship groups, hands on learning, community discovery, and outreach field trips. | | |
