Rental Assistance Corporation Offices Under Construction

The Rental Assistance Corporation operations are based in a 1920s era Warner Brothers film storage building that over time had evolved into office space. This evolution provided some inefficient building situations especially regarding circulation and natural lighting. The team at FBA worked closely with the client to assess the space and engage with the needs of the staff. Working from a close understanding of the client needs and existing space, we were able to generate a design that modernized both the layout and materials of the space while improving the comfort of the staff with access to natural daylighting and increased circulation from floor to floor. With construction intended to come to a close later this Fall, we share the excitement of the RAC staff to see their new workplace come together!

Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park Hangar Building Phase I Construction Completes

If you’ve been down to the Buffalo Waterfront this summer, you’ve probably noticed ongoing construction at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park Hangar Building. This metal building, originally constructed in 2005 as storage for large exhibit pieces, is in process of being reimagined to suit the Naval Park’s current needs for an identifiable entry and a large gathering space to support visitor and community programming. Phase I is nearly complete, which included the construction of new restrooms and new finishes within the building. A planned Phase II will include an expanded gift shop and iconic new entrance sequence for the museum.

Thank you for your continued support in 2021!
