Participate in a Community Conversation: Art and Social Justice

Sunday, November 10 | 1-3pm | Columbus Museum of Art

A partnership between Columbus Museum of Art and King Arts Complex

Join CMA and the King Arts Complex for a conversation moderated by Jessie Glover, director of Ohio Prison Arts Connection. This program is in conjunction with the King Arts Complex’s exhibition The Intersected Lives Project, an arts-based social justice project conceived by artist Stephen Canneto. Panelists will explore some of the issues around the mass incarceration of juveniles and the role art and artists play in matters related to juvenile justice. This program is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, pre-registration is requested. See the Columbus Museum of Art's website and Facebook page for forthcoming details.

The artwork in the header was exhibited as a part of the show presented at the Ohio Prison Arts Connection statewide gathering in October 2018 at the Wexner Center for the Arts.

The quotation in this email's subject line is from a participant in KUJI Men's Chorus, a choir producing The Hamilton Project at Marion Correctional Insitution.
