As most of you know, I just recently returned from The Grand Author Takeover, which was held at the famous Grand Hotel in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada. While the logistics of attending an international event were challenging, it was a wonderful experience overall. I met so many amazing authors and readers, starting on Thursday night, February 22nd with The Grand Introduction Q&A held at the CP Art Gallery. The festivities continued on Friday night, February 23rd with the VIP Meet & Greet back at the hotel. Finally, the big signing event took place on Saturday, February 24th. I truly appreciate everyone making me feel welcome, from the organizers to my colleagues to all the friendly readers. It was a whirlwind weekend for sure. I even sold a few books in the process! For me, the best part might have been Friday morning when I enjoyed a true, Canadian Tim Horton's breakfast... In all seriousness, I had a blast and I hope to meet everyone again soon. |

My next big event is Dreaming Dirty in Michigan at the Hilton Garden Inn Ann Arbor on Sunday, April 7th, 2024. I'm looking forward to teaming up with the amazing Award-Winning Author Samantha Moran! From there, I will be attending Dreaming Dirty In Maryland at the Lord Baltimore Hotel on Saturday, May 4th. I can't wait to meet some of my favorite authors and readers closer to home at RomantiConn in Trumbull, CT on Friday, July 26th. I am proudly returning to Sinful Signings next year. This amazing event will once again take place in Roanoke, VA on September 21-22nd, 2024. October will be a busy month for me. I'll be at the Smash/Slash Author Bash in La Porte, IN on October 4th-5th. All proceeds will go to a local Domestic Violence shelter. Also, I will attend the Books and Bourbon Spooky Soiree in Bardstown, KY on October 25-26th. Bardstown is not only the Bourbon capital of the world, but it is also known for its rich haunted historical history, and is the second oldest town in Kentucky. Thus, it is the perfect event for the spooky season. I already have plenty of appearances lined up for 2025, including Romance In CNY, Aces Wild, and Getting Witchy With It. Plus, I am anticipating some local craft fairs in conjunction with the Long Island Authors Group. These events will be announced sometime in the spring. Check my website and social media accounts for all the latest developments. |

This month's spotlight focuses on a talented romance author who is a self-professed hopeless romantic. She has a way of tapping into unspoken human emotions and is an absolute sweetheart to boot. Our March Author Spotlight is Dawn Love. Ms. Love's latest novel is my current read entitled Logan's Flame. In this fiery offering, the title character finds himself in the awkward position of having feelings for his best friend's sister. However, unbeknownst to him, the object of his desire, a best-selling author named Sera, has decided to use Logan as "research" for future books. Will her plan backfire? Will their true intentions come to light? Do they risk losing each other's trust and friendship or will they find something more? Dawn has also written the Cassidy Brothers series of five books: Across The Hall, Across The Road, Across The Lane, Across The Field, and Across The Miles. In addition, her first book in the Mountain Mayhem series, Mountain Haven, is also available. Dawn Love was born in Mayfield, Kentucky, and spent the first twenty-six years of her life there. Always a creative person and an avid reader, she began writing stories for her own entertainment as a teen, and her love of writing continued to grow into adulthood. Meeting the love of her life brought many changes, including moving 900 miles away from home and settling on the Delmarva Peninsula where she resides on her 50-acre farm. Now the mother of two teenagers, she spends her free time creating the characters and stories of her fantasies. She also writes an internationally read Blog where she gives her readers a glimpse into the craziness of her day-to-day life through the majesty of song. I had the pleasure of finally meeting Dawn in Canada. I can assure you she is a very down-to-earth human being and a pleasure to be around. I look forward to seeing her again soon at Dreaming Dirty in Maryland. |

Speaking of Samantha Moran, not only has she just released a new Apothecary of Curiosities story, but she is putting the finishing touches on her first "spicy" thriller, an Alice In Wonderland retelling called Wicked Little Rabbit. Pre-orders are available now for this tale for the dark and depraved. In addition, Samantha is accepting permanent ARC Readers through her Facebook Group, Coven of Chaos. Look for the featured post to sign up and reply "OPT-IN." |

February was a challenging month for me, both personally and professionally. However, I take solace in the fact that any type of forward progress is good. Whether you wrote 20,000 words or 2,000, it's better than not having written at all. That said, sometimes taking one step back is necessary to take several steps forward. I have decided to end my relationship with my now-former vanity publisher and re-release everything on my own. One of the greatest advantages of being an indie author is the ability to call your own shots and be your own boss. I will have the ability to do that from now on. Thank you for your understanding! |
