About us
What started in 2011 with a few students and a big idea, TEDxFoggyBottom has quickly become one of the largest student-run TEDx events in the United States. Each year, TEDxFoggyBottom is brought to life by over 50 undergraduates at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and aims to bring together some of the world’s incredible innovators, thinkers and doers to inspire and collaborate with the Foggy Bottom community. TEDxFoggyBottom attendance has more than quadrupled since its beginning, and its talks have been featured on Upworthy, TEDx Editor's Picks, the Washington Post and have gathered over 7.8 million views on YouTube to date.

From now until November 17th, GW is letting student organizations crowd fundraise and our goal is to raise $4,000 towards our spring conference. Your support will allow us to put on another fantastic event. Even as little as $5 would be immensely helpful to the execution of our event, and this year we will hold our conference on April 27th 2024 in Betts Theatre! Each year, TEDxFoggyBottom is brought to life by over 50 undergraduate students at The George Washington University in Washington, DC who work to bring together some of the world's most incredible innovators, thinkers, and doers to inspire and collaborate with the Foggy Bottom community. We invite you to join TEDxFoggyBottom in our crowdfunding campaign to help fund our annual 2024 Spring Conference. If you are interested in donating please visit this link and make sure you select “TEDxFoggyBottom” as the designation. Thank you!
