End of the Year!

This year has been a very odd one indeed.  For the running community, 2020 has been especially tough.  The cancellation of nearly all in-person races from March to September, including most of the iconic ones affected us all.  But for the next several months there is some reason for hope.  The 28th annual YMCA Turkey Trot is on, and we have races ranging from a 5K to a Half Marathon in the next 6 weeks in the Fredericksburg region.  Hopefully we'll all take the opportunities to race as we bid farewell to 2020.

Stafford Veterans Day 10K and Kids Mile

There is less than 1 week left until we debut our new 10K course that includes a healthy dose of River Road (~ 4 miles) and the Belmont-Ferry Farm Trail.  Hopefully the leaves don't all blow off the trees in the next few days and we can all enjoy the beautiful fall colors.  As of now, the weather looks to be perfect.  Lower 50s at race time.

This race has some pretty good cash prizes for the top 3 male and female overall ($100, 75, 50) and the age group awards, shirts, and finisher medals are pretty fantastic as well.  See you on race day!  Full race details HERE
