We have a piano! Can you play?

We were very kindly donated a piano by Keys Piano School in Bolton, we would like to say a big thank you to them, as well as Park Pianos in Atherton for supplying them with the piano at cost price.

We have a few people in the building who can play the piano, but we would love to invite any relatives or friends who are piano players to come and play for our residents. This can be a one time thing, or can be as regular as you want.

If you can play the piano and would like to play for our residents, please get in touch and we can share more details with you.

Catholic Mass

29th May, 2pm

We would like to inform relatives and friends that a Catholic mass will be taking place on Wednesday 29th May at 2pm. If you think your relative or friend would be interested in attending this mass, please get in touch with us so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Blue Floor is now fully renovated!

Our team has been working hard over the last year to fully renovate two large areas of Oaken. Silver Court (formerly Red Road) was completed last year and our Blue floor has now finished all renovations.

The corridor has been massively expanded, giving much more room and floor space for our service users outside of their bedrooms. We have added lights on the ceiling to imitate the sky and clouds, brightening up the room and new carpet was laid on the floor. New shower rooms, clinical waste areas and a linen store have also been added. As well as this, many of the bedrooms were fully renovated, resulting in more floor space for many bedrooms, new flooring and en-suites installed where possible.

If you have a relative or friend on this floor, we hope you enjoy the improvements made.
