Our flock got haircuts! Thanks so much to Alex at Outlaw Valley Ranch for the educational sheep shearing demonstration which captivated City Farm staff, volunteers, and the students of Mariposa Education. We all learned about the shearing process, equipment, wool, and a bit about sheep psychology as well. Students will process this wool into yarn for lots of projects! |

Camilla is currently pursuing two master’s degrees through Tufts University- a Master of Science in Agriculture, Food, and the Environment, and a Master of Public Health in Health Services Management and Policy. Her goal is to understand and improve the resiliency of the food system and make healthful diets more equitable and accessible by engaging with local producers and public health departments. She is very excited to be with City Farm SLO to learn about food production and regenerative agriculture...and we are so excited to have her on our team! |
