“Arise and Go!” – A Divine Command The command “Arise and go!” frequently appears in the Bible. While it may be uncomfortable, it is a call we cannot ignore or avoid. When we obey God by faith and arise to share Jesus, whether across the street or around the world, we: • Shift from a spectator mindset to a disciple-maker mindset. • Experience divine appointments and miracles like the early church. • Recognize our need for Jesus like never before. • Learn to talk openly about Jesus, our Friend, Creator, Savior, Lord, High Priest, and Soon-coming King. • Realize that everyone in our circle of influence, and the world, needs to know that Jesus loves them, is coming again soon, has a good plan for their lives, and that now is the time to take Him seriously. • Sense that we are engaged in a God-given mission much bigger than ourselves. Camp Meeting: A Time to Be Inspired to Arise and Go! At this camp meeting, we are praying for the Lord to raise up 1,000 believers to become Neighborhood Pastors, praying for and with the people in their communities. We also pray for the Lord to raise up 500 group leaders (men, women, youth, and children) who will gather weekly with three or more people to lead others to Jesus and His final movement. Will you be a Neighborhood Pastor or a Group Leader for Jesus? Will you let this camp meeting be a turning point in your life? From Pastor Dan Serns

This Month’s Featured Pastor: Ricky Schwarz |
We are thrilled to announce that Ricky and Stephanie Schwarz have returned to ministry with the Central California Conference. From 2009 to 2015, Ricky served as the Youth Pastor and Bible Worker for the Visalia SDA Church. For the past eight years, they have been ministering in New Brunswick, Canada, where Ricky was the Youth Director and a district pastor for the Maritime Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. During this period, their ministry team grew from two to six with the addition of their four energetic daughters: Madyson, Serenity, Sarah, and Journee. Ricky’s journey to dedicating his life to Jesus Christ is inspiring. Before this calling, he pursued a career as an entertainer, acrobat, and stuntman, working for Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and Cirque du Soleil. Despite being a fourth-generation SDA and spending 14 years in the Adventist education system, Ricky did not make a personal decision to follow Jesus until he was 25 years old. This pivotal moment occurred while he was working as an acrobat for Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, NV. It was there, in “Sin City,” that Ricky first began to understand God’s love. He started his journey of learning to read and understand the greatest love letter the world has ever known—the Bible. We warmly welcome Ricky, Stephanie, and their daughters back to our community and look forward to the blessings their ministry will bring. |

750,000 GLOW tracts distributed in Japan, 280,000 baptisms in Papua New Guinea Mission trips can have a profound impact on our connection with God and our understanding of the world around us. This may be seen through mission trips that bring literature and evangelism, or through mission trips that bring medicine and assistance. And they also have an undeniable impact on the people who are being reached through God’s mission. | | |
