ジャコウウシは、北極圏にのみ生息する氷河期から生き延びた動物だが、世界の温暖化により絶滅の危機に瀕している。本来は野生だが、ジャコウウシを放牧して、世界で最も温かくて高価な動物繊維であるジャコウウシの毛、キビアック製品をつくる農場がアラスカにある。アメリカ人の運営するその農場と、グリーンランドでジャコウウシを狩猟しながら生きる先住民イヌイットの2つのコミュニティの協力を得ることで、移民と先住民、家畜と野生動物、ひいては人間と動物の関係にまで言及するプロジェクトとなった。野生の象徴でもある角を覆う行為は、人間が動物を支配することのメタファーである。

The muskox, an animal that survived the Ice Age and exists only in the Arctic Circle, is threatened with extinction due to global warming. Although essentially wild, there is a farm in Alaska that grazes muskoxen and produces the world's warmest and most expensive animal fiber, qiviut products. By enlisting the cooperation of two communities - the American farmers and the indigenous Inuit who live and hunt muskoxen in Greenland - the project is about the relationship between immigrants and indigenous people, domesticated animal and wild animal, and even humans and animals. The action of covering horns which is symbols of the wild, is a metaphor for human domination over animals.

現在世界最悪の環境汚染都市とされるインドのニューデリーに滞在し、現地の環境汚染の実態について調査を行った。その後、象が多数生息するケララ州に滞在し、野生の象と、神聖な動物としてお祭りのために人間に飼われている象を調査し、インドにおける象と人間の関係の一端を垣間見た。最終的に、象のオーナーと象使いの協力を得て、環境汚染をもたらす、様々な工業製品を象が踏み潰していく映像を撮影した。作品のタイトルはインドの伝統的な例え話に因んでいる。

I travelled to stay in New Delhi, India, currently considered the world's worst environmentally polluted city, to research about the actual state of local environmental pollution. then stayed in the state of Kerala, where numerous elephants live, to investigate wild elephants and those kept by humans for festivals as holy animals, and to understand the relationship between elephants and humans in India. In the end with the help of elephant owners and elephant care takers, I've acquired some footages of elephants crushing various industrial products that cause environmental pollution. The title of the project refers to a traditional Indian parable.
