Another year has come and gone for the women of Delta Theta; and what a year it was. There were highs and lows, with everything in between and the collegians handled it all with the grace of true Alpha Gam women. There were still many meetings held over Zoom this year but we also had many meetings in person, for which I could not be more excited about. Traditions were re-introduced after a break due to covid and they contributed to a stronger sisterhood.
Formal recruitment was held in person this year instead of virtually and the women were successful in meeting quota. They continue to recruit women through the COB process and continue to add more incredible women to our sisterhood.
Our two philanthropic events were successful, which led Delta Theta to make our usual donation to the foundation that grants us our Jewel Chapter status. As most of you know, the beginning of 2022 started off rough for the chapter. There was a fire at the chapter facility in the beginning of January that left the house unlivable for the remainder of the semester. Luckily, the FHC was able to work with one of the local fraternities, not living in their chapter facility, so the women were able to move in and live under the same roof for the semester. With the help of FHC, the University, my fellow advisors, and many generous alumnae, the collegiate women were able to quickly move forward from this tragedy and have a successful semester.
FHC is working hard to make sure the chapter facility is ready for the women when they return for fall semester and I cannot wait to see the new renovations. Delta Theta continues to flourish and I look forward to what the future holds. I cannot wait to see what this next year has in store for all of us; alumnae and collegians alike.

This year’s Recruitment Teams have worked diligently to put membership selection on the forefront of our chapter’s minds. Last fall, our chapter exceeded quota for Fall Formal Recruitment while creating an exemplary experience for potential new members and our sisters. Our continued efforts resulted in pledging four new women through the Continuous Open Bidding process – a number that exceeded our counterparts on campus. As we look ahead to Formal Recruitment this Fall, we are planning some big changes to our recruitment experience that makes Alpha Gamma Delta a leader on campus and is a memorable experience for all potential new members. If you are interested in helping with Fall Formal Recruitment, we know that chapter morale will be a priority! In early June, check out the Delta Theta Alumnae Facebook page for ways to volunteer time or send treats/funds to our women during Work Week and beyond. We need your help to make this our best recruitment yet – so please check back often to see what you can do to help our collegiate sisters during Recruitment!
