Newsroom Sessions is a workout for writers/composers alike. We have reworked the concept to fit a video conference on Zoom.
For Writers, this programme can be two-fold: Either submit a short piece or excerpt from a piece sitting in your drawer or take the challenge to write a short scene to a set theme (Brexit this month). Get the chance to work with a cast of actors on it for 1h, show it to the other groups in the sessions who worked on other pieces of writing and collect some feedback.
For Actors, this programme is a safe space to dive into a character and scene, and bring a new piece of writing to life with the author of the piece and a team of colleagues. No preparation needed, although certain casts might be asked to do some - especially for musical material.
This TRIAL is open to members and non-members - so let your colleagues know about it - future editions will be members only.
