Crowbarland Books Newsletter

From the Writer's Desk

You may have noticed that I missed a couple of months there. Well, that was by design... mostly. With my backlog of books already out there for all to enjoy, I'm more focused on writing new works. In some cases, these are sequels, or even sequel series, to books I've already written. That includes Water's Eye and the Elements' Openings series that I've mentioned previously. Some of them are completely new books and book series. I'll try to keep you apprised of the upcoming books and when you can see them available to purchase, both online and at my in-person events.

For those interested, I have now included my current writing schedule on my website, going into 2028. You'll be able to see just how much work I put into my writing, both in the writing of the first drafts as well as the incremental edits. It will also give you an idea of when books will be coming out in the future. I'll be keeping this schedule updated over time, using it to track not only my future writing, but the writing I've done so far. I only wish that I had been this... diligent in documenting such activities in the past.

I'm currently working on Prairie Queen, a sequel to Mountain Princess. With the Lolland soldiers asking Talia for her help at the end of the previous book, there is much work for her to do. Not only in helping the Lollanders keep the peace in their kingdom, discouraging their neighbors from attacking, but getting to the long process of returning to Hilland. Except, as news from the mountains came to her, she realized that much of that work is already done from the Hilland side. Her time on the Lolland throne would be short indeed. And with King Stoland still committed to taking over Hilland, Talia must figure out a way to preserve the independence of her people. Even if that means that she would have to give up her throne.

Look for Prairie Queen early next year.

From the Event Desk

My first event of the year is looking to be Jersey Pride, which is scheduled for 6/5. I'll have my usual booth, as well as all twenty-four books that are currently available. I'll post more information on where I'll be located at the event once I know. As many of you know, most of my books are LGBT+ inclusive, thus my participation in the event. I'm hoping to see some of you there, and looking forward to more exposure, for both my previous and my current works.
