POWER OF JOY

January Newsletter

Happy New Year friends !

To start off the new year we have our first Joann Randall Charity Pickle Event. We are excited for a fun and active night out. The event is sold out, so if you’ve missed out this year, mark your calendars for next!

Our January focus is to offer anyone who has attended an orientation or information meeting the opportunity to join an open POJ Circle. This is a group of 8-10 people who meet monthly to explore the Eight Pillars of Joy- one each month. The first meeting will be Thursday, January 12th, 6-7pm at The Bainbridge Library. RSVP info@powerofjoy.net

DECEMBER SPOTLIGHT

 POJ KIDS Christmas Party!

Our POJ kids and their moms had a blast at our first annual POJ Kids Christmas party at the Joy Center. The halls were decked most festively, and there was lots of food & fun. Each one of our kids decorated cookies and fashioned a tree that they were able to take with them to continue the "season of joy" at home.

The kids, their moms, and our POJ volunteers came together to build a JOY filled community for sure!

Reiki is an ancient energy healing technique originating in Japan. It is administered by the "laying of hands" and is based on the idea that a "life force energy" flows through the hands of the practitioner. All of the major health systems in Cleveland use Reiki as an adjunct to traditional medical care. Those receiving Reiki often report a sense of calm and well-being after a treatment.
