Collaboration with Music on the Strait

This year we are pleased to be partnering with Music on the Strait to offer meaningful opportunities for our Olympic Strings Camp students. 
 
This week, violinist James Garlick coached our chamber ensembles, gave a masterclass, and joined Monique in a talk on how to manage nerves for a performance.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES

Music on the Strait brings some of the world’s finest musicians to Port Angeles for their festival beginning next week. This is a fabulous opportunity for our students to listen to dress rehearsals, attend concerts, and interact with the musicians.

VOLUNTEER!

Any OSW student who volunteers to assist with the concerts will receive free concert admission and a free T-shirt. Volunteers would need to arrive at Meier Hall at Peninsula College at 6 PM on any of the following concert dates: August 13, 14, 20 or 21.
