Thank you to all who came out to the 2019 Chaminade College Alumni Association's Curling Bonspiel at the Dixie Curling Club. This event was a huge success as we had the usual maximum of 12 teams and 48 competitors participate. Events like these are a crucial part to our existence and growth as an association so we appreciate the support greatly. On a side note, below you will find a few things that we wish to address.

Communications:

Within the past year, we have been notified that a large percentage of alumni have not been receiving communication from us. We would like to inform you that we have taken the steps necessary to rectify this problem and as such, our new domain and website will be www.chaminadecollegealumni.com instead of .ca. Please note that the .ca website will still be active for quite some time in order to assist with the transition. Please bear with us as we troubleshoot this issue further in order to ensure that everyone is receiving e-mails from us. Also, we have begun to communicate more frequently through our Instagram and Facebook pages so if you have not already followed us, please do. Lastly, please SPREAD THE WORD about subscribing to these e-mails as there isn't much opportunity for us to reach out to alumni who have not yet registered with us. Fundraising:

Please remember that our events (Curling Bonspiel, Softball Tournament, Football Homecoming) not only help bring Chaminade Alumni together, but also help raise funds for school initiatives/scholarships. For your information, in the past few years the CCAA gave grants of $500 each to programs such as Chaplaincy, Football, Stop the Stigma, Phys Ed, Outdoors Club, Hockey, Instrumental music, Robotics, Curling, Table Tennis, Digital Media, Basketball and Camp Olympia. Without your support, these programs would not receive the funding needed to continue, especially during these times of programming cutbacks.
