A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us. We are dependent on him. He is not an interruption in our work. He is the purpose of it. He is not an outsider in our business. He is part of it. We are not doing him a favor by serving him. He is doing us a favor by giving us an opportunity to do so. - Mahatma Gandhi |

Message from Attorney Howlette Having just eclipsed 9 months in operations, I could not be more thankful for the opportunity to work with so many amazing clients over the last several months. We've made significant strides together and obtained remarkable legal results. And we'll continue doing so as we wind down 2022. That aside, I hope you all enjoy the content we gathered for the law office's first newsletter! |

Fighting Discrimination This year, we’ve had the privilege of pursuing justice for clients who experienced egregious acts of workplace discrimination, retaliation, and sexual harassment. Although these cases are often highly emotional and difficult to pursue from a financial standpoint, our firm remains steadfast in our commitment to being a voice for the voiceless. Read about our latest civil rights lawsuit here. |

We're happy to report that, for the third quarter of 2022, our clients helped plant more than 300 trees in places that needed help the most, including California and the Amazon Rainforest. | | |

The majority of our daily activities occur in front of us (driving, texting, typing, etc.), causing our shoulders to round forward and our posture to suffer. Reversing that motion and opening up the chest can help prevent poor posture and even help elevate back pain. Try this chest stretch to mitigate against poor posture. Instructions: 1) Place your arm on the corner of a wall at a 90-degree angle. Keep your elbow slightly higher than your shoulder. 2) Slowly twist your torso away from your shoulder to stretch the chest muscle. Hold for approximately 30 seconds, and then repeat the stretch using your other arm. Stop immediately if you feel pain. |

Did you know? The U.S. Constitution protects individuals against certain government action/overreach, not acts committed by private individuals or businesses. A private employer, for example, can limit or prohibit certain speech or expression within the workplace without running afoul of the First Amendment (although the action may separately violate certain labor and employment laws). |

What am I? 2) What is always in front of you but cannot be seen? 3) What can you break, even if you never pick it up or touch it? 4) How did the court know the judge was ready for bed? 5) What do you get if you put 100 lawyers in your basement? |
