IMPORTANT UPCOMING EVENTS

Mar. 21st: World Down Syndrome Day

Mar. 25th: All School Mass & Class Photo

Mar. 26th: Girl & Her Guy Dance

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO PARENTS:

Our first bell rings at 7:50AM and the tardy bell rings at 8:00AM. Students arriving after 8:00AM are tardy. All students arriving after 8:00AM, when the gym doors close, must be brought into the school by a parent and signed in for the day in the front office.

FROM THE DESK OF DR. REID

Dear St. Patrick Families,

We are so happy to have our volunteers back. Now that volunteers are allowed back in the building, all volunteers must maintain their Virtus training, and complete the monthly Protecting God’s Children bulletin. This is Diocesan policy and we want to keep our students safe and we want our volunteers back at St. Patrick. Please review the information on Virtus which can be found below.

As a reminder, all parents and volunteers must enter through the main door, sign-in at the office and wear their visitor’s badge. The only time people are allowed to enter through the gym doors is when we have an evening event.

Monday, March 21st (3-21) is World Down Syndrome Day. Students will walk a set course during recess. As a school we are trying to collectively walk 321 miles. There will be music, and bubbles as students walk to support our friends in the Matthew Morgan Program. During this day, each child is asked to wear a pair of crazy socks in awareness of Down Syndrome. Why socks? Because chromosomes are shaped like socks. If they choose to wear crazy socks, they may donate $1.00, or a check can be made out to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte. All monies received will go to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Charlotte.

Save the date - Friday, March 25th is class picture day and we are going to Mass as a whole school, students should be in their Mass uniforms.

Please take the time to read the Shamrockin’ News each week. Shamrockin’ News has useful communication, important dates, PTO happenings, as well as Diocesan information.

Blessings,

Dr. Reid
