Nehemia Gordon claims that the scribes removed the 'Cholem' vowel from the name יהוה in order to hide the 'secret,' 'true' pronunciation 'Yehovah'.

In the previous 2 presentations, it was shown that all evidence thus far points to the fact that the vowels of Adonai were placed on the name. Yet, the question still remains - why would the scribes leave out the Cholem?

This question can be answered by evidence from the best Hebrew manuscripts of the Masoretic Text. In video 5, Justin Van Rensburg shows why this 'Cholem' is often missing from the Name יהוה.
