Kia ora, yay,

Remember me? I've been deep in the flow state, went to put down my pencil and found we're already in March! The year's been off to a busy start, illustrating videos about the importance of seed collection, live scribing for business leaders and creating a new gym routine for myself!

It's been a creative few months with both professional and personal projects on the go...

I enjoyed a career highlight last month!

I was asked to be a part of the Te Hono Leaders' Forum which took place over a couple of days in Premier House. Alongside a room full of business leaders from New Zealand's food and fibre sector, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was also there and I visually captured his speech.

It was a surreal moment and I felt proud to have built this business and created the connections I have for opportunities like this.

And now for something completely different!

I have an art exhibition of my own personal work, opening next week...

"Craving more consistency as artists, but never “finding the time”,  Jade Cavalcante and Rhiannon James came together over a shared desire for a regular art practice. They committed to creating everyday for 100 days, supporting each other through the artistic challenges that come with it. Discover how Jade explored abstract watercolour to express themes of identity and belonging, and how Rhiannon used drawing and collage to illustrate each individual day to form a visual diary."

It opens Tuesday 19th March at the Art Hole, hope to see you there!

Thanks for reading!
