The exhibitionDreaming Mutiny at the Atelier Angström has met with great enthusiasm and I have decided to extend the opening hours until
31st October 2022.
There are three more events still to come and I have an announcement to make!
See below...
But first...Thoughts on Dreaming Mutiny….
Making a space to freefall with all the chaotic repressed, unformed and puzzling feelings circulating in the psyche and creating a vessel for them.
Revolt
The rawness of it. Feeling the feelings. Going through not around.
To show them as they are: messy unviolated ejections of lifeforce through charcoal lines and concentrated into an essential form.
This is a dimension my work did not contain previously.
The shape and form is like the story, the abstraction like poetry woven stylistically through the paintings.
I have been collaborating with Ayin de Sela for decades as a true friend and model for my paintings, both from the time she was a wirewalker to more recently for a series callled Sensualité Féminine.
Ayin de Sela is fascinated by the unique alchemical journey that perfume creation offers.
After travelling as a tightwire performer before settling at the Chateau de Monthelon as co-artistic director, she is now dedicated to creating alchemical and medicinal perfumes for individuals and the collective.
