| | Morse Code Mysteries and Missives My latest book sold surprisingly well at Origins Game Fair this year. As you may recall, it contains three short tales (two fiction pieces by me, as well as a relevant non-fiction piece) presented first in 311 pages of Morse Code text, then via links as about 12 hours of audio Morse Code dots and dashes, then as clear text to check your work. Not only is it a great book for Morse Code and CW/Ham Radio enthusiasts, but for military personnel, crew from the Merchant Marine, pilots, and Boy Scouts, but also puzzle and cryptography fans. In fact, a majority of the purchasers at Origins were not people who already knew Morse Code. Sure, this may not be the book for you, but, admit it, this is the perfect book for someone you know. Available in print or as an ebook on Amazon. | | |

| | On Wings of Steam II: Ears and Gears I had a story in the original On Wings of Steam fairy/steampunk anthology edited by Tracy R. Ross (available in print or as an ebook). Better yet, I've got two stories in the follow-up volume On Wings of Steam II: Ears and Gears. The first (which, I'm proud to say leads off the entire book) is a fairy tale called Flit. The second is my steampunk horror tale, Dark Energy. Print copies are now available on Amazon and at certain midwestern Renaisance Faires. Speaking of Faires, you might also be interested in my collection of stories, Grim, Fair e-tales, Writer on Demand Vol. 4. This collection includes four of my previously published stories: Suburban Legend; Artists Only; Stew; and Grok. Available as an ebook, including on Kindle Unlimited. | | |

The Dick Thornby Thriller Series The omni version of The Dick Thornby Thriller Series became available this year. Now you can give an entire series of exciting spy thrillers about a regular guy who takes on some of the biggest and most bizarre conspiracy and disaster theories you can find on the world wide web in one honking big book. If ebooks aren't your thing, you can grab Net Impact, Wet Work, and Flash Drive in print here. And, both Net Impact and Wet Work are available in audio. See the links at the end of this newsletter. And, if you want to start off an Audible subscription with either Net Impact or Wet Work, go here or here, respectively. Dick Thornby isn't Hollywood's idea of a spy. He's a new kind of spy for a new kind of world. |

Don also edited Familiar Spirits (an anthology of ghost stories). Many of Don's shorter works can be found in his Writer on Demand TM collections.
