Praise to Jesus, my MarchMin friends! I trust your heart is filled with peace and joy, cradled in the arms of our amazing Father! Glory to his name! Following my last letter I received a question, "Can you explain what you mean by "first century miracles?" Immediately I sensed that many of us were wondering the same - that many aren't familiar with God's miracle hand. Even more, I sensed many of us have grown weary in faith and hope, pressed down by such a year... |
My MarchMin friends, I come to you today by way of encouragement and reminder that our God is who He's always been - as much today in your life and mine as He was in the pages of our Bibles - God's living Word! |
"I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory" |
One of my pillar Scriptures is Psalm 63:12, "I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory." David wrote those words not when he was "flying high" in life - but exiled in the wilderness. No matter how wearying, seemingly God-less or unsure the times, we must never forget His "power and glory"... |
One of the first "first century miracles" I experienced was in 2002 during my first South African crusade. The service was finished and my shirt was soaked with hours of ministry in the heat and humanity. A pastor approached with a woman carrying a "blind cane" (at left). Smiling ear to ear, through an interpreter she shyly explained she'd come to the service blind - but now she could see! |
My African partner and I would hold many more crusades over the next ten years, and many more miracles would follow. The photos tell the story - another woman's eyes opened, a lame man walking, a note handed to me in the crowd... |
I could tell many stories... After one service, everyone was gone and there by itself was this wheelchair - empty! There was the deaf boy we prayed for and his eyes got so big as sound suddenly flooded his hearing. The next night almost his whole village came and gave their lives to Jesus. A favorite story - Sharon, who led our "Kiddies Crusades," was a miracle skeptic - until she saw a woman's cataracts disappear "before her eyes." |
Why the Lord doesn't always heal; why so rarely in our western world...the best answer I can offer is Romans 11:34: "Who has known the mind of God?" But suffice it to say... We serve an all-powerful, all-astounding, immeasurably supreme...God. The trials we face; the national/global situation; the mistakes we've made; the "impossibilities" that raise their heads against us... ...are as nothing before Him. "I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and glory." Be revived and strengthened, my friend! Pray - and pray! Glory to Jesus! |

Speaking of wonders, Alison's Choice is now reaching all of Africa through FaithTV Africa. We didn't even know, but suddenly started getting messages from Congo, Kenya, Zambia...Enjoy this email from a pastor in Uganda: "I am blessed with your movie on Faith TV watching from Kampala. You are touching important area helping women not to do abortion... |
...It is something I always identified missing in Uganda. Such an advocate to stop abortion among the youths. How can such video be got here?" You'll be happy to know we will be sending "Pastor Arthur Ssajjabi" DVD's of AC to use in schools, universities, youth events... Praise to Jesus! |
And the AC news keeps coming as the Lord does wonders. Enjoy this text from our USA distributor: "In July AC was our #1 movie again on Tubi, second month in a row..." My friends, keep in mind we have zero marketing effort. It's 100% the Lord! |
And we can say the same with the making of The Gospel According to John. There isn't one aspect of our progress thus far that's "the normal way things are done." Every inch has been by the Lord's "ways that are not our ways." Praise to Jesus! |
I want to strongly thank you who've donated and continue to donate. The Lord is truly fulfilling what He "showed" me when we first began: "a Gospel film made by the body of Christ..." Glory to Jesus! |
I pray over you a wondrous weekend, my friend! Even with the uncertainty and turmoil of our times...never forget He is who He's always been and always will be! We call on Him and call on Him - in confidence, rest and hope! Glory to Jesus! Bruce Marchiano |
