COVID-19 response for people seeking asylum and refugees - Email your MP Thousands of people seeking asylum in Australia have no access to Medicare, no work and no social security. Likewise a breakout of COVID-19 in any of Australia's detention facilities would have a devastating effect on people detained there. There are many more instances where people seeking asylum and refugees will face serious health impacts and as of yet do not have the support they need. Can you help send a message to our elected representatives that they cannot forget people seeking asylum and refugees during the COVID-19 pandemic? |

YACWA Youth Survey YACWA is continuing to advocate for young people in Western Australia during the COVID-19 Pandemic. As part of this we have developed this survey to gauge how you have been impacted by COVID-19, what young people are most concerned about and what supports they need during this time. YACWA is currently engaged with a number of key-decision making bodies responding to COVID-19 and we want to ensure that the advice we bring to Government is representative of young people's views. We also want to share the feedback given with youth services and the broader community so that we can raise awareness of young people's concerns and ensure that support is tailored to need. |
