Festival Updates - New Features for 2023

CALIFORNIANS - WE WANT YOU!! The Bowers Bluegrass Festival has been expanded to include 4 days of Bluegrass music activities and performances, and we want folks to "stay awhile" and enjoy all that we have to offer. We've secured discounted room blocks on both the north and south ends of the beautiful Washoe Valley (where the Festival takes place), each within a 15 -20 minute drive of the Festival grounds (there are NO motels or overnight lodging properties in the Valley). We've also reserved the North Group Campground at Washoe Lake State Park (in the Valley) where jamming will be allowed 24 HOURS A DAY!

Bring the whole family, as there are many recreational opportunities in Washoe Valley -- hiking, biking, boating, hang gliding, off roading. It's an equestrian paradise where you can watch herds of wild horses, or go horseback riding (on tame horses!). Close to Virginia City and the Nevada State Capitol -- there are lots of things to do for the "Bluegrass Widows, Widowers & Orphans" in your family!
