Pork
Many of you have asked about pork. We are very happy to announce that we have secured a local grower and are now taking reservations for pig.
These pigs are Arizona bred and fed. They are grain finished on Made Right pig finisher. The price is $6.50 per pound hanging weight - just like the beef - no head, hide or feet. The price includes the harvest fee, cutting and wrapping to order and up to 20 total pounds of sausage - you can choose 2 different kinds. These pigs are running around 150-180 pounds hanging weight.
Right now we can only confirm full pig. Possibly in the future we will be able to do half shares and we will let you know.

Beef
The next available harvest date for beef is February 12. Your beef will hang for 14 days and be cut, wrapped and be ready for you the first week of March. This will be gorgeous local Brangus. These boys have been relaxing in the feed pen since Thanksgiving and are looking great.
Ground Beef and Sausage
We will have some absolutely wonderful Highland ground beef in February since we are scheduled to retire a couple of cows in late January. Ground beef for existing customers is $7.00 per pound. We will also be trying some summer sausage at this time as well (another benefit of our new butcher). The price for that will be $14.00 per pound. No filler and Highland beef. Yum
