With COVID-19 slowly decreasing, we are in the process of reopening the office. More details will be sent via email. Caring and Sharing classes, Mentor Program and PSDP sessions will still be conducted virtually. If you have any questions or issues, please send us an email.

Special Announcements

 

Email Migration: We will be moving from HostGator to G-Suite by mid-June. You have roughly a month to clean your inbox, we will begin the transition June 15th. We also recommend writing a list of different locations that you connected or associated your iefausa.com email. If you have any doubts, please contact Ann Idichandy.

 

General Announcements

 

  1. Scholarships: Please begin applying to the various scholarships available from our scholarship list and NACAC's scholarship list. The sooner you begin applying, the more chances you have of winning and saving for your college education. Scholarships for international students can be found here.
  2. IEF Library & Book Lending Program: We have created a library with donated college textbooks from our students. If you would like to borrow a textbook for your class, you can do so from our library. More details to follow via email.
  3. Summer Coding Course: Are you interested in learning coding over the summer? Fill out this survey and we'll send you more information!

Meeting Announcements

 

G-Suite Training: We will have a training session on June 20th @ 11:30 AM about G-suite and the new email platform. This training is mandatory.

  3. Health Immunization Form: Seniors who have made their enrollment deposits, please complete your health immunization form and review with Admin. The form will be located in the university checklist. Contact us if you have any questions.

IEF Quarantine Video

 

We are planning to create a video based on the TikTok fridge challenge and would love for your participation. The TikTok fridge challenge comprises of opening a fridge and taking out a random object!

 

Rules:

  • Submit your video by June 12.
  • Videos should be 10 seconds or less.
  • Try to be creative. It should not be items from the fridge.
  • Do not act or show anything inappropriate - if you won’t show it to your parents or Mathew Sir, don’t show it to the camera.
  • Videos need to be vertical, and in MP4 or MOV formats. Other formats will not be taken. For more information, please get in touch with techteam@iefausa.org.

WAH Option for Volunteer Service

 

With the office closed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and CDC's instructions, Work At Home (WAH) shifts are open on

When I Work. Below are instructions to sign up:

 

  • Log into When I Work, look at the open shifts, select a shift that works with your schedule. Only sign up if you can volunteer at that time, canceling at the last minute or forgetting you signed up are not valid excuses.

 

  • Contact Ann Idichandy, through text (267-304-7520) at least 24 hours prior to shift time, stating you would like to WAH and state the time you signed up on When I Work.

 

  • An email will be sent before your shift with your assignment. At the start of your shift, sign into the Time Clock and begin your work.

 

  • At the end of your shift, sign out the Time Clock and send your summary.
