Many interested individuals tell us that they’d love to sponsor a Plant NOVA Natives awareness event for their local faith community, school, service organization, HOA, etc., but are not comfortable speaking in front of others. WE HEAR YOU and we have the solution! A number of our volunteers are very knowledgeable about native plants and are passionate about getting the word out. They’re happy to speak to your group about the campaign, the benefits of Native Plants for our pollinators, and the environment, and can direct your group to resources in getting started with their own plantings and/or in spreading the word.

With occasional special exceptions, our speakers present via videoconferencing, both for safety and for the enormous time saving. Some of our speakers present primarily at large events or at smaller meetings of decision makers. We will do our best to accommodate other smaller events.

Hometown Habitat: Stories of Bringing Nature Home is a great tool to begin the conversation and is segmented in ways to target your specific audience. You can arrange a discounted license through Plant NOVA Natives for your group to have access to the movie online for several days.
