PARISH NEWS

REGENERATION CELEBRATION next Sunday

Our floors have now been refurbished - the last phase of the PCC’s significant project, of several years, to restore and beautify our building. Next Sunday, The Venerable Elwin Cockett, Archdeacon of West Ham, will be with us for the Parish Mass and he will consecrate the works to the glory of God. We are looking forward also to welcoming our architect Michael Poteliakhoff and the contractors who carried out the works - and we shall thank God for the generous benefactors who funded them. There will be drinks and canapés after Mass. Please be sure to be at this important milestone celebration.

JOHN COX

Today John steps down as our Director of Music. We are tremendously grateful to him for the all he has done in planning and leading the musical elements of our worship - including rehearsing and directing our choir - and at the console. We wish him a healthy and happy retirement. John has graciously offered to continue playing the organ for us until Easter Day, while Fr Gareth and the PCC seek to appoint a new DoM.
