Woogee Bae, Katelyn Oppegard, Abi Pollokoff, and myself are reading on May 4th at Open Books. Join us! It will be my first time publicly reading in about 4.5 years, so, I can't promise much on that end, but Woogee, Katelyn, and Abi inspire me daily. Would love support!

Kara Jackson has been named the 2019 National Youth Poet Laureate!

Joshua Burton was named a Tin House Scholar for 2019!

Gabrielle Bates had a poetry comics collaboration in POETRY, became Adroit Journal Gregory Djanikian Scholar, and had her poem, “Strawberries” included in the Harvard Advocate’s Women’s Issue!

Abi Pollokoff was the February poet in residence for The Seattle Review of Books and has accepted a position as the Managing Editor for Poetry NW Editions!

In the immortal words of Patrick Milian: "🌟Chelsea and Patrick: A Celebration🌟"!

We are being obnoxiously self-congratulatory because have now each signed POETRY publication contracts AND each won the Hermione and Louis Brown Graduate Publication Prize! Patrick for 2016-2017 for his multimodal rhythms in late Modernism paper; mine for 2017-2018 for my Flint paper (link on my site).
