Now that you know who our National Headliners are, we need YOU to serve on the Band Selection Focus Group to choose 3 Regional and 4 Local Bands to play at the Festival. You need to be an NNBA member to be on the committee. It's fun! We are looking to form several Focus Groups, but the Band Selection is most urgent at this time. Deadline for Band Selection Group is Dec. 31, and the first meeting will be in January (at Bully's in Sparks!). The Percs of Being an NNBA Member You may have noticed that there are TWO types of memberships to NNBA. Becoming a "Site Member" (of the website) is free, and basically means you have an "account" with us, just like accounts you set up with other online businesses. When you purchase an NNBA membership (see here), you are assigned a Member Number which you can use to get a 20% discount on anything you purchase from us. 12 month memberships are $15 for Individuals and $25 for Families. Since our Early Bird Tickets will be going on sale January 1st, we want you all to be able to navigate the website to get the discount. The image below shows a checkout page. You will need to be logged in to the website (upper left corner) and in the "Coupon Code" box, type your Member Number. The 20% discount will automatically be applied. If you're not a member, or if your membership has expired, it will give you an error message. Any questions or need for assistance, please send an email to info@nnba.org. |

Holiday Gathering at the Mountain Music Parlor! Doors at 6 for jamming, socializing and celebrating. At 7:30, Sugarpine Bluegrass Band takes the stage! Enjoy one last jam for 2023, as jams at the Parlor will be on a hiatus for awhile (gotta do some re-organizing!). Tickets are $22 here. BYOB, but no hard stuff, please. Of course, the Parlor will remain open for your Holiday shopping! Lots of needed accessories for musicians as well as cool gifts! |

2nd Annual Roots Music Weekend Workshop with the McNeil Family The McNeils know how to put on a Workshop! Thursday - Sunday, Dec. 28-31 will be a weekend filled with hands-on instruction, impromptu jams, evening concerts, dances --- even food and lodging are included! $700 for everything for the weekend. Another reminder..... NNBA Annual Meeting is Sat. Feb. 17 Potluck, jamming, Annual Meeting and Election of 2024 Board of Directors. Everyone is invited, but only members may run for a position on the Board, and only members may vote. If you're interested in running for a Board Position (we encourage ALL members to serve at least 1 year on the Board!), click here to learn more. You can nominate yourself or someone else! More details about the Annual Meeting will be posted soon. It's always a lot of fun! |
