THE MANY FACETS OF EVANGELISM
Even the poorest of the poor. We reject God by hiding from him when we are frustrated and have problems and do ”our own thing - whatever that is,” even to be angry and disappointed in God.
Well, the poor also hide from those they should run to like we are to run to God to seek his grace in time of need because they feel rejected by everyone. They avoid any more hurt to their soul so that instead of seeking the help they need they hide in alcohol, drugs, violence etc. to dull the pain. This makes them hard to find sometimes because they go out into the deep countryside to blend in with everyone else who is in their situation so their life can look normal compared to everyone else.
Christians that are persecuted eventually go underground to live the way they want to live together. So too, are the poor. It really takes a while for them to trust so as to build relationships to preach the gospel, access skill sets and train. Therefore, we keep moving toward with the goal God has given us as assistant/ helpers to potential microentrepreneurs, as well as, assisting microfinance organizations.
