Greetings From Your President Autumn Greetings! Thanksgiving is almost here and we are thankful for many things. The friendships and fellowship we have with our CDSRA members are always gratifying. We are especially thankful for the recovery of Nancy Valeson, our long-time board member, who was recently involved in a serious car accident. We will look forward to having her back in action soon. Our October meeting featured Matt Cadman, executive director of the Numerica Performing Arts Center. He came to talk about the EKAP (Every Kid At the PAC) program which our Unit has contributed to. Through contributions, all school children in our region will be able to attend one of eleven professional performances at the PAC at no cost to them this coming year. This will involve over 12,000 students elementary through high school. Exposing these students to the arts is very exciting. Our unit will again contribute to six neighboring school districts to support homeless students. |
Our next meeting will feature several award-winning students who are experts with robots from Foothills Middle School in Wenatchee, as well as an informative video of the many offerings of AMBA (Association Member Benefits Advisors). Please come and join us for lunch at 12:00. |

We encourage all members and friends to return your ballots and vote by Tuesday, November 6. It is important that you contribute to this wonderful opportunity. Sincerely, Beverly Jagla, Unit 2 President |

Do you love programs at the PAC?! |
Last month's program featuring Matt Cadman explained how CDSRA's $1,000 contribution to "Every Kid at the PAC" (EKAP) would benefit 10 surrounding school districts and over 12,000 students as they get to experience live theater this school year. CDSRA is also planning to contribute another $1,000 for the 2019-2020 school year. CDSRA is now invited to have 5 of our members attending upcoming EKAP shows. If this is something you are interested in being part of, please contact Marie Buckner at 509-630-6209 or at buckgm@charter.net. You can also contact Bev Jagla. Upcoming programs: Collision of Rhythm on January 10 at 10am or 1pm Villalobos Brothers on January 17 at 10am |
