đ˛ Got bikes? Suppliers are warning us that 2022 bicycle inventory will likely be thinner than 2020 and 2021 combined. Luckily right now, we have a larger bike inventory than most shops, as well as more exciting bikes slated to arrive soonâdonât count on this to continue. If youâre looking to purchase a bike to gift, we have an enticing layaway program; come find a bike on the show floor, and weâll hold on to it for you up until Christmas (while supplies last). Don't forget, with every bike you purchase from us, you get two free tune-ups ($65 value each), one free bike fitting session, 10% off all accessories, and no sales tax! |

𼜠Chilly on the trail? In order to rideâpleasurablyâin these chilly temps you want to be geared up with the proper riding equipment from helmet to toe. From helmets and beanies, to long-sleeved jerseys and insulated jackets, to cozy riding socks and gloves, to articulate riding pants and warmers you name it, we probably got it right now. Not to mention, all these make great stocking stuffers and gifts! Stop in to kit yourself or a loved one out with the latest technical gear for the cold. |

đ§ Repair turnaround time? Currently, we have donât have a lengthy repair queue (phew, finally we can breathe). However, we still encourage calling us before bringing in your bike if youâre in a hurry or want the most accurate information. Please note that certain parts are taking longer than usual to get because of increased demand and industry shortages. If you have broken parts or extraordinary repairs, we recommend bringing your bike in for the most accurate quote on turnaround time. |

âď¸ Rentals? For those willing to brave the temps, our little rental fleet of hardtails, full suspensions, and town bikes are still available. Please call us or visit to learn more and reserve. |

đ˘ McKenzie Pass? Sadly, McKenzie Pass wonât get a big segment of the newsletter for the next several months as Highway 242 is closed for winter. If youâre looking for another beautiful road ride, we recommend the Smith Rock Loop. |

Holiday Bike Drive Our annual bike drive has come to be a powerful force for good within the Sisters Community. Over the last six years, we have received, serviced, and gifted over 350 bicycles to those in need. This year, we hope to maximize donations by spreading the word digitally. If you or anyone you know has a bike laying around theyâd be willing to part with, now is the perfect opportunity for it to go to a new home. We will be accepting donations from November 15 to December 15. Our community thanks you for your generosity! |

Coming in as our top gift suggestion for this holiday season, unsurprisingly, is a Blazin Saddles Gift Card! Given the complexities and endless selection of bicycle products, the chances of guessing what your special cyclist(s) will most appreciate as a gift are slim. Therefore, loading up a Blazin Saddles Gift Card is our best advice for nailing your cycling-related gifts this holiday season. All you have to do is simply stop by the shop and ask to purchase a gift card! |

Christmas Trees and Ugly Sweaters... đ The annual Sisters Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony is on this year! Get the whole family gathered up after Thanksgiving and head to Fir Street Park on 11/26 from 5:30 to 6:00 PM for the ceremony. The following day, the Holiday Parade will take place on Main Street from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. If neither of those events sounds like your cup of tea (or if you like to do it all), Run Sisters Run is hosting a free Ugly Sweater Fun Run on 12/4 starting at 10:00 AM. There will be free beer at The Barn, beverages from Liard, giveaways, and of course, an ugly sweater contest! Sound fun? Learn more and signup for this unique 5K by clicking here. |

Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) November Update: From COTA Trail News - November We need your help for Lemon Gulch If you havenât already, please contact the Forest Service and elected officials and voice your support for the proposed Lemon Gulch trail system. Find all the info you need here. A few people that oppose the project have been spreading misinformation, which has resulted in many people writing to say they oppose the project. We need mountain bikers to voice their support to counter this opposition. Unfortunately, the opposition is claiming that the Forest Service did not follow the correct process and did not consider multiple locations, when in fact the Forest Service went above and beyond, convening the Ochoco Trails Coalition - which includes ranchers, hunters, equestrians, conservation groups, and more - that worked for years on a multi-stakeholder plan for the future of non-motorized recreation in the Ochoco National Forest. Weâve put links to information on both points of view on our website here. COTA is Hiring!Thatâs right. Our staff of one is growing to three! COTA is currently hiring a Trails Program Manager and a Program Coordinator. Applications are due November 22nd. Find position descriptions and applications here. Blazin Saddles is a 2021 COTA Partner If you bought a bike from Blazin Saddles in the last year you automatically became a COTA member, compliments of Blazin Saddles. Blazin Saddles purchased a block of memberships to support our local trails. Kudos! |

Rooted In Whistler - The Georgia Astle Story "Can you imagine growing up in Whistler? For Georgia Astle, the endless opportunity of home keeps the wheels turning, the throttle twisting and the snow flying. Sheâs always getting up to something fun in the mountains. Naturally, Georgia has a passion for good times and a propensity for shredding. Rooted in Whistler is the story of how Georgiaâs backyard led to a future with no rev limiter." |
