The Terrinov project, supported by the Erasmus+ program, aims to prepare for social and environmental transitions through territorial cooperation. It brings together various European partners around a common objective: to promote innovation, the professional integration of young people and sustainable development on a local and European scale. Terrinov focuses on several strategic axes: Educational and Professional Innovation: Develop and integrate innovative educational tools such as MyLearn to strengthen the professional soft skills of young people, in order to facilitate their integration into the world of work. Territorial Cooperation: Encourage collaboration between different European regions to share good practices, resources and innovative solutions adapted to local contexts. Social and Environmental Transitions: Promote initiatives that respond to current challenges in terms of sustainable development and social responsibility, by integrating ecological and inclusive approaches.
The Terrinov project, supported by the Erasmus+ programme, is an ambitious initiative which aims to create an innovative support model, experienced and tested in the transnational territories of the participating organisations. The main objective is to prepare for social and environmental transitions while increasing access to employment and professional training. |

The Terrinov project aims to model a support process intended to increase the skills and employability of individuals in Europe. This modeling will make it possible to revitalize local territories through the sharing of tools and practices on a broader scale, at the European level. Project partners will play a crucial role in the use and promotion of this model. |
|
The Terrinov project mainly targets two groups: Young people and adults in social and professional integration: By offering them training and employment opportunities to facilitate their integration into the labor market. Business Managers, Employees and Future Entrepreneurs: By supporting them in developing their skills and creating new businesses.

The Terrinov project is based on a dynamic and diverse partnership, bringing together organizations from several European countries. This partnership constitutes the central pillar of the project, allowing the sharing of knowledge, the exchange of good practices and the implementation of innovative solutions for social and environmental transitions. The Terrinov project partners each bring unique expertise and valuable experience, promoting the development of a robust support model that is adaptable to various territorial contexts. |

This part includes the innovative actions that were presented to us |
|
|
Since the inception of the Terrinov project, a range of innovative actions have been implemented to support the professional and social integration of young people. One of the key themes agreed upon by all partners during the transnational meeting in Abbeville was the development of soft skills. These interpersonal skills, such as communication, adaptability, and teamwork, have been recognized as essential for success in the professional world. By focusing on soft skills, we aim to enhance employability and foster effective collaboration in diverse teams. Additionally, extensive surveys have been conducted across partner regions to better understand the local context and needs. These investigations have been vital in gathering insights from young people and businesses, allowing us to tailor our approach to address the unique challenges of each region. For example, initial feedback from Ireland highlights a need for training in stress management and adaptability, while in France, businesses emphasize creativity and teamwork. The development of our Soft Skills Model, led by the Mission Locale Picardie Maritime, is a significant achievement. This model, structured around interactive and practical learning, will be translated and tested across all partner countries, ensuring adaptability and relevance to local contexts. Finally, the project’s capitalization plan, coordinated by Le Cube Consultants, ensures that all findings and best practices will be shared widely, creating lasting impact across European territories. |

During the first transnational meeting in Abbeville, discussions were held about the type of model that could be developed in the project. The whole partnership agreed on one common theme that seemed important for their target audience and on which the model should be based: soft skills. In the professional world, the importance of interpersonal skills, or ‘soft skills’, is increasingly recognised as a key element. These skills, which include communication, stress management, and adaptability e.g., form the basis of effective teamwork and organisational success. Soft skills enable individuals to interact effectively with others in a professional setting, which is essential for building strong relationships. While technical skills are often necessary to accomplish specific tasks, soft skills are crucial for working effectively in diverse teams, communicating with people, and adapting to rapid changes in the labour market. |

Ongoing Investigations: A Crucial Stage of the Project |
|
|
As part of the European Terrinov project, in-depth surveys are currently being conducted with all partners across France, Portugal, Poland, and Ireland. These investigations are gathering essential data to understand local dynamics and the needs of vulnerable youth as well as businesses. The initial results reveal interesting trends, such as the importance of creativity in France or the need for stress management training in Ireland. This data will be used to develop support strategies tailored to the realities of each territory. |

The development of the model was the focus of an activity carried out in work package number 2 and is a crucial element of the project. Following discussions between the partners, which led to a common agreement to develop this model on the theme of soft skills, Mission Locale Picardie Maritime conceptualised a model based on the good practices subsequently exchanged. The model was therefore designed around 4 basic phases during which participants learn what soft skills are and practise their knowledge through fun games using card games or a wheel, for example. This fun learning sequence is followed by a practical application and eventually a validation of the soft skills. The final phase is rounded off with the award of a certificate.Modifiez le contenu dans la mise en page de cette colonne pour que les internautes s'intéressent à votre e‑mail. During the transnational meeting in Dublin in April 2024, the project partners endorsed this proposed model and brainstormed together on the various soft skills to be introduced, as well as their definitions. The model will be translated, adapted and tested with participants from all the countries making up the partnership of the project. |

Le Cube Consultants has undertaken its mission to structure the capitalization plan for the Terrinov project , an initiative aimed at promoting Soft Skills within various European territories. This plan was developed using a rigorous and collaborative method, involving all partners across several countries, each making a unique contribution based on their local context. The creation of this plan began with an in-depth consultation phase, where partners were asked to share their experiences and knowledge of territorial issues and targeted populations, particularly vulnerable young people. The data collection strategy is the heart of this plan. It is based on the use of active listening devices in each partner territory. These systems include tools for the continuous collection of statistical data and qualitative questionnaires intended for young people and local businesses. All partners have been equipped with detailed questioning guides, aimed at standardizing and facilitating the data collection process. This approach ensures that the information collected is relevant and comparable between different territories, thus providing a solid basis for analysis and capitalization. For data management and processing, a collaborative work platform has been set up by the Mission Locale Picardie Maritime, allowing each partner to submit their results in a centralized and secure manner. This platform plays a crucial role in facilitating the sharing of information and ensuring the transparency and accessibility of the data collected. Centralizing data on this platform also makes it possible to simplify comparative analysis and strengthen the consistency of results. The capitalization plan also provides for the production of a digital work at the end of the project, bringing together the different initiatives and their specific contexts. This work, structured into several chapters, will offer an overview of support models, the results obtained in terms of individual and collective skills, as well as perspectives for the development of territories. This approach ensures that the knowledge acquired is not only preserved but also disseminated widely, thus allowing other territories to benefit from the lessons learned from the Terrinov project . In summary, the creation of this capitalization plan is based on a collaborative methodology, rigorous data collection and strategic dissemination of results, ensuring a lasting and significant impact. |
