ChildHope

As always, time is flying by this year. It is hard to believe we are already nearing the end of the school year. In ChildHope we are preparing for the end of the school year and looking forward to seeing the sponsored students graduate in June. I also continue to work with one of our schools through CREW Kids which is an after-school club focusing on Bible and STEM. I love this time with the students and getting to know their families.

Teams

I had the privilege to work with a team from New York in February. We partnered with a local church in Orange Walk town to put on a family street fair and visit schools in the area to do programs and invite them to the event. We ministered to over 1,000 students in schools and welcomed over 200 families to the fair at the church.

In March, I hosted a team of students from a Christian high school on a spring break missions trip. We were able to bless a school in the Valley of Peace village with a sports camp and lead their chapel services. We also spent one day working at the school cleaning, landscaping, and painting sidewalk games for the kids. The school principal was very appreciative of the work the team did and the kids loved the activities and services.

General Council

Every February the Assemblies of God Belize hosts the General Council Conference in which all the pastors of Belize meet together for business meetings and services. This is a great opportunity for all the pastors to fellowship and participate as one body. At this conference, we had 6 different cultures and languages represented. It is always special to see our fellowship come together in unity for a common cause- to reach Belize with the gospel.
