Happy Holidays Livingsong family,
We would like to start this month’s newsletter by sharing the photo above, taken in Deltona, FL. We are grateful to God for this opportunity to share our mission with two church families who came together for this service. Actually, the Lord orchestrated this connection back in May, when we served a Celebrate Recovery group in Longwood, FL. When we arrived we were welcomed by the recovery leadership team, which included a pastor. Several weeks after our visit, we received an email from that pastor, “Pastor Joel”. He expressed how moved the Celebrate Recovery leadership team was, so he wanted to invite us to share our ministry with his congregation in hopes to encourage the church’s local mission efforts. Thankfully we were able to schedule the visit in November and we were also blessed to meet the members of their sister church “Nuevo Pacto Iglesia” who also joined us.
What we continue to see and the point of sharing this thought, is the importance of your, “Word of Mouth”. Manny and I truly believe that this is one of the main reasons for the favor we have experienced in missions since 2011, because of the abundance of friends who cheer for what the Lord has done, and continues to do through this small ministry, “Livingsong”. Like our new friend, Pastor Joel, we believe more doors will open for the saving Gospel of Christ to be shared next year, through your continued help and support. As we prepare for this next chapter of ministry, and the milestones we hope to reach for the kingdom, we’d like to ask. Would you pray for us, that God would clear the way, and provide clarity, divine wisdom and discernment for the journey? Whatever your prayer request may be, please let us partner with you in that request by sharing it with us.
So what’s next?
Aside from our year end projects at FBC of Boulougne, in a couple of days we’ll be departing to Macon, Georgia for the Winter Worship Night event, held at the Rescue Mission! We are excited to meet and have church with the residents of this very special recovery program! We give God thanks for the eight containers of clothing donations - hopefully we’ll be able to squeeze it all into our small RV! Christmas at Camp Anderson will also be a highlight, and our next destination for ministry is South Florida! Lastly, we are going paperless next year! Meaning, our newsletters will continue to be sent digitally only. If by any chance you would still like to continue receiving a newsletter by mail, please let us know at your earliest convenience, and we will continue to mail them to you for 2022. Until next time,.. Lord God, we pray for every person reading this newsletter, dear friends, family members, and those who have perhaps accidentally come across this online. Father, I pray that you will turn every heart reading this, towards You this Christmas. Lead us all away from the constant noise and distractions that are often mistakenly invited, so that we don’t miss the chance to celebrate the immeasurable gift of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. In His name we pray, Amen.
In Christ,
Erika Lynn Garcia
