More private lesson spots are now available online, but only on Saturdays! School is back in session, and so our head instructor Coach Mike (who also works in public school) is making some changes to the schedule. Now private lessons are only available to book through our booking calendar, and they will only be on Saturday afternoons. Using the online booking calendar here, check which spaces are open and reserve your lesson. Feel free to reach out with any questions! We will have some days with more private lessons available based on our agreement with the archery range and our schedules. Contact us to be waitlisted for other possible days down the road. |

We have had a tremendous month in the competitive world in our JOAD and AAP teams. The first NWTA Pin Shoot was held in July and we're off to a good start!
Here are a few highlights from the program: |
- Our former JOAD member and strong competitor, Therese, went toe to toe with the Olympic archer Jennifer Mucino in a shoot off at a national tournament AND SHE WON!
- Tyler and Mackenzie are both headed off to college in other states. We wish them the best and congratulate them on the excellent years of shooting!
- Our very own Alex won the inaugural Archery Poker Tournament at the Annual KBH Member Potluck beating out more than 10 adults in his competition class and winning some prize money!
- New archers have joined our AAP and JOAD teams leading some archers to their first pins, like Yazmin, Mark and Leah who earned pins at their first ever Pin Shoot! Congratulations!
Do you want to compete in archery? The NWTA JOAD and AAP teams are the place to get started! Please reach out if you are interested, or ask us during class. |
COVID numbers are on the rise, so we want to ensure you that NWTA is doing our best to keep archers safe.
We limit class sizes to 8 students to maintain good spacing. In addition to our HVAC MERV-13 air filter, we also have MERV-13 air filters continuously running on the range during class.
We continue to ask students to mask when not actively shooting on the shooting line. |
Additionally, we will refund any classes you have reserved in the event that the COVID protocols in our county, state, or country make it so that we cannot have class.
However, until that time, we will roll on and see you on the range! Please remember to bring your mask :) |

Tournaments Coming in September For all our archers looking to get out there and compete in September, there is only one event coming up. We have the USA Archery Outdoor Field Nationals happening in Darrington on Labor Day weekend, September 4-5th. To participate, you need to be a member of USA Archery. At least one of our JOAD team members will be competing there, so wish them luck or join them for the shoot! See the website linked here for details. |
