It’s been a while since I’ve been back to work and I’m just recovering from the physical impact the lockdown had on my body.

However like many I found it mentally challenging but not as much as I resuming work and getting used to the “new normal”. On the night of my third day back, my mind was racing as I was trying to go to sleep.

I needed to relax and the only way I knew how was by giving myself some reiki.  As I laid my hands around my body, within minutes I could feel my body relaxing, my mind quietening and I eventually fell asleep.

Why Reiki is so helpfull?

Reiki helps in many ways; reiki will make you feel calm, it can also uplift you . Reiki will support you  physically or emotionally.

Reiki Healing helps you maintain your well-being, by promoting a calm response to life challenges and supporting your body natural healing capacities.

Depending on my client current state of being , I'll select 1 or 2 symbol/s and tailor the session to help with the situation they're in.

As I mentioned I put my hands around my body not on my body. Self-healing can be done in the same way as when I'm giving a session; hands on, hands off or distant. It can be a full session 60 minutes or a shorter one of 15/20 minutes

The other important fact about reiki is that the energy goes where it is needed, which means that as a practitioner I do not need to “fix” anything just be open to the energy and so does my client.

Consider adding green tea to your selection of daily hot drink. Matcha tea is a  concentrated form of green tea with similar benefits.
