Our bodies store unprocessed negative emotions, such as fear and trauma, and become energetic blocks that often take a physical toll on the body. Talk therapy can help us identify these negative emotions, but isn’t always able to remove them from the body. Often, these traumas and energy blocks have been stored in the body since childhood and can hold us back from leading the life we want to live – a life without fear and emotional baggage. A regular breathwork practice is an incredibly powerful somatic tool to help unblock, unravel, and release fear, traumas, limiting beliefs, and negative emotions, while also bringing us to states of gratitude, peace, and self-compassion.
