Visitation Updates

Please note that we are still currently unable to open the Home for general family & friends visits due to an outbreak of Covid-19.

The rules have recently changed, reducing the length of time we have to remain shut to visitors during an outbreak. The new rules state that an outbreak can be declared over 14 days after the last positive result.

We are still testing our residents and staff weekly with a PCR test, as well as LFD tests for our staff members when required. Unfortunately, PCR test results are taking longer than normal to be returned, but we will ensure updates are shared with family members and next of kin as soon as we have any updates regarding visitation.

This does not affect end of life visits, these can continue going ahead. But please make sure to contact our reception team to organise your visit.

Family/NOK meetings- 2022

We are currently in the process of organising all of our meetings for the first 6 months of 2022.

We would like to invite you all to fill in our short survey so that we can choose a suitable date and time for our meeting.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have decided to host these meetings online via Microsoft Teams. This will allow us to record and share our meetings for anyone unable to attend, as well as offer the best possible interaction with family members and next of kin outside of physical visits.

We are aiming to hold our first online meeting midway through March, with the date and time determined by our survey responses.

Please note, we will also be contacting next of kin with the same questions by phone throughout January to ask for your preferences.
