Breakfast and Lunch For those making an early start in the morning, Tea Avenue's breakfast menu is available from 7.00an to 2.00pm - so it can be breakfast or brunch. The menu includes pancakes, waffles, eggs benedict, omelettes or a full English or American breakfast. If you're a person who eats lunch alone, then cheer yourself up with Crystal Jade's Lunch Deal for One. Choose two meat and one veg item, for Rs1000. Available for take away or delivery, 12pm to 3pm on weekdays. For a nice, traditional lunch, Walawwa Kade offer daily lunch specials such as beef, chicken, fish or prawn curries with rice and sides like dahl, kiri kos and more. They also have some kotthus and string hoppers. If you've read the last few newsletters you'll know that we almost always include a burger offer. Not because we love burgers (though, let's be honest, most of us do!) but just because there is always someone, somewhere, with a burger offer. And this week is no exception! The Hungry Foodie offer a loaded chicken burger or loaded beef burger, two burgers for Rs990. They are available 5pm to 10pm until 15 December, pick up or delivery.

It costs Rs4,500 for two. There's also a Festive Menu available at Park Street Mews Restaurant for lunch or dinner until 19 December. For a change these are not the typical Christmas dishes but are international dishes from around the world - not a single turkey dinner in sight! There's a new seafood night, on Saturday nights at the ME Colombo rooftop. You can enjoy a grilled seafood platter for two, for Rs3,900 and you can also enjoy the extended happy hour with deals on shots, wines, cocktails and beers.

Would they like to try their hands at making pizza? They can, this Sunday at The Avenue between 12.00pm and 5.00pm. They will be provided with the base and the toppings and they can add the toppings however they wish and the pizza will be baked for them. Do you like chocolate but want to try something a little different? How about "chocolac" hot chocolate? It's a chocolate ball that you put it in a mug, pour hot milk over it and stir... and you have a cup of delicious, creamy hot chocolate. You can get chocolac from Buddy's Delight and it is available in five different flavours.
