Q&A re: 2024 Grant Pause
You may have a few questions about what pausing our 2024 grant cycle means. Below are some answers to those questions:
What happens with the money that has already been donated or money I plan to donate during this grant fund pause?
100% of Collective 365 donations go towards our grants, and that will remain the case moving forward even during the pause for the 2024 grant cycle. Any dollars you donated towards the 2024 grant cycle or choose to donate now will be placed in a restricted fund that will be held for the next grant cycle and 100% of those dollars will go towards our grantees.
Collective 365 is a fully volunteer run and lead organization, and during the pause we will be
strategizing increasing and diversifying our funding streams so that we can provide more
grants in the future. The organization will also be focusing on building our committee
structures, and providing more opportunities for our members and board to connect. We
want to get to know each other more, and support each other.
Collective 365 strives to live our values and after an amazing 3 years of grant cycles, we
want to encourage and make space for our wonderful volunteer board and community
members supporting the grant process to take time to rest and reset so we can continue to
be sustainable.
Lastly, we will continue to offer capacity building support, as available, to individuals,
organizations and businesses interested in exploring the levels of support outside of
financial grants we have to offer.
How can I stay engaged with Collective 365 during this grant pause?
Collective 365 will continue to send out our monthly newsletter and offering updates on how to engage with us and also how to engage in volunteer opportunities and ways to support our past grantees and the wonderful work they are doing. If you haven’t already subscribed to our newsletter, please consider doing so.
Collective 365 will continue to fundraise for future grant cycles and are going to use this season to really focus on fundraising, so please consider making a one time or recurring donation in any amount that works for you. Every dollar you donate goes towards our grant fund and will help support the work our grantees are doing in the community.
Consider becoming a Collective 365 member, there are a variety of membership levels. We are committed to making membership accessible to all, which is why membership is free. The various membership levels reflect our value to ensure all aspects of philanthropy are equitable and accessible to everyone.

Will the grant applications resume in 2025?
If you are interested in applying for Collective 365 Grant, we will be share in our newsletter and on social media when the grant cycle will open again for 2025. Once the grant cycle for 2025 is open we will have a link posted on our website to access the grant application.
