Happy Hanukkah everyone. The holiday started on the Dec. 8th and ends on the 15th. Therefore you have most of the week to celebrate.
I have a few links for you below. The first is the shortened version of the story of the Maccabees for children. The second is a joyful festive song. The third link is to encourage everyone to post and share your favorite Hanukkah songs and videos on the Jewish Roots Facebook page. Have a wonderful holiday.
Our beloved Messianic Rabbi Jeff will be speaking on Saturday morning at 9:00am. Arrive early at 8:30am to enjoy some breakfast foods and coffee. Read the Parsha reading for the week and bring any questions you may have regarding this week's Parsha reading for discussion. See Parsha reading at the bottom of the e-newsletter.
Every fifth Sunday we have a worship and praise service. Multiple Messianic worship teams will come together to have an afternoon of worship. We will also be taking time to pray for the nation of Israel. All ages are welcome. See the online calendar for more details
Sunday Mornings in January - Ariel's Harmony of the Gospels and Yeshua,The Life of Messiah (From a Messianic Jewish Perspective)
Dr. Fruchtenbaum chose a thematic, not a geographical, approach to establish a coherent chronology of the events depicted in the four Gospels...a work that clearly shows the Jewishness of the Messiah's life, actions, and words. Join the class on Sunday mornings at 9am starting in January for these two new books study.
Growth Track coming in January - Adorning the Bride: Reflecting the Stones of the Breastplate
Local author Angela Noe will be teaching on the Wednesday night classes from her very own book. A unique experience to sit in on the author's teaching of the prophetic meanings of the High Priest's breastplate and how the same meanings can be captured in our own lives. Please contact Karen Ness to reserve your spot and acquire a book for the class. Remote computer access with Zoom.com is available. Please check the online calendar for Zoom login information.
