Applications Now Open!

Yes, camp 2021 will be in person!

Olympic Strings Workshop is now accepting applications for camp 2021. The first 20 qualified applicants, ages 14-18 will be accepted to the program, with preference and full tuition scholarships given to eligible students from the Port Angeles area.

Applications are due no later than June 1.

This year's programming centers around music for duos, the smallest (and Covid-safest) ensemble experience.  Whether choreographing a fun music video, performing a double concerto, or championing music by unsung American composers, this year promises opportunities to develop your ensemble skills, artistic expression, stage presence, and public speaking.

We are excited to partner with two dynamic duos this summer:  The upbeat, virtuosic Duo Vivo from Montreal will be arranging your favorite tunes and performing some of theirs.

We are also thrilled to partner with Music on the Strait's Artistic Directors James Garlick and Richard O-Neill, who will offer masterclasses and performance opportunities for our students.

You may have noticed that we have a new name this year. That's because we are now our own non-profit organization, thanks to the efforts of founding member, Chuck Whitney, to whom we are tremendously grateful!  You'll hear more about our new board and other developments in the weeks to come.

Meanwhile, please reach out with any questions you may have. We look forward to seeing you at camp this year!

Monique Mead, Artistic Director
