In 2006 Sustainable Living Fabrics became the first fabric company to have every fabric certified carbon neutral from cradle to grave. This was done through the Australian Governments Green House Friendly Initiative. In 2010, our organisational practices joined our products to be certified under the Australian governments national carbon offset standard (NCOS).
Now 15 years since we began, we are continuing with our certification through Climate Active (previously known as NCOS). A goverment run not-for-profit organisation.
It's so important for our economy and environment to be making a green-recovery from the pandemic. Every selection in the design process has a flow on effect to our environment and we wantto help minimise any negative impact as much as we possibly can.
Choosing to specify products with third party certification ensures that you can rely on the authenticity of their claims. This is why working with Climate Active as well as GECA is so important to us.
You don't need to compromise on design, style or quality to design sustainably through our range. In need of an update? Contact your local rep to request a catch up. We would love to see you!
Stay safe, and remember to support local.
Sincerely, The team at Sustainable Living Fabrics
