Learn About Student Homelessness July 11 at Chat

 

Civic West will be hosting a Fire Hall Chat in our series titled ā€œStudent Homelessness in West Fargo: The Hidden Problemā€. Learn about the problem and what is being done about it from the Superintendent of West Fargo Public Schools Beth Slette and the co-founder of Matthew's Voice Jenny Schuster. This event will begin at 7 p.m. and will be at the West Fargo Fire Hall (1201 10th Ave E).

Livable West Fargo Volunteers Will Meet July 11 at Noon 

 

Are you interested in missing middle housing issues in West Fargo? Join other volunteers in a planning meeting at 12 p.m. on July 11 at the West Fargo Public Library (215 3rd St E). Janelle Moos from AARP ND will be joining us to talk about an upcoming event on housing with the City of West Fargo.

A panel on "Historical Memories of West Fargo" was sponsored by Civic West at the June 20 WFACP Senior Extravaganza at the West Fargo Fire Hall. Speakers on this panel include Mike Thorstad, Jackie Brodshaug, and Greg Warren. It was moderated by Frank Lenzmeier. They shared personal stories of their part in major changes that have occurred in West Fargo's history.

We have updated the calendar to reflect some events happening in West Fargo for the month of July. Whether it’s taking a class at the library, catching an outdoor movie, or running around the park, we’re sure there is something out there for you!
